My wife carries the same paddle in her pocketbook, except, she has her name on the handle, & mine on the business end, so if some one comes across it, their's no mistaking who wears the pants in our family, & who doesn't. My wife smiled back, saying it was our 10th, & wanted to reenact our wedding night. They winked at each other, as we were getting up to leave, my wife said, "come on sweet cheeks, mama can't wait to get you to that hotel, my palm's getting itchy". I turned beet red, the waitress just laughed & told my wife "to wear him out, mommy style". My wife winked, & said "I plan to".
